🔹 House of Wizardry by Steffen Larken

Rating: 4 of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ By: Kato Justus Join Veric in the second novella of the marvelous Swarming Death series. Veric’s quest to unravel the mysterious symbols on the box and understand his past continues as he’s drawn into “ The House of Wizardary .” Follow Veric into the wizards house which has more doors than windows with each leading to another bizarre world. Meet Raved—a town historian—whose son Samir has vanished into the wizard’s house. He holds the next clues Veric must know. Through dazzling magic and swashbuckling fights—will any escape the wizard’s house intact? We learn the secret magic of Veric’s onyx ring (it’s so cool!). We are left hooked, anticipating the third novella, “ A Kingdom to Die For .” Right now, the Veric series will publish two books per month, so it will be a short wait. (I hope to learn what that devious Devan is up to.) I enthusiastically recommend reading this enchanting, well written series which delivers th...

🔹 Bee People and the Bugs they Love by Frank Mortimer

Rating: 5 of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ By: Kato Justus I highly recommend this book! “ Bee People and the Bugs they Love by Frank Mortimer is a delightful, heartwarming, joyful, inspiring journey of discovery. You’ll fall in love with nature’s most fascinating six-legged creatures—Bees. Besides telling great stories about the quirky, mostly wonderful people who become beekeepers, readers have an opportunity to learn whether or not the world of beekeeping is right for them or not. This book is marvelous for many reasons but one of them is because it’s packed with “Bee Nerd Alerts” and amazing scientific facts about bees like: 🐝 Bees can count to four. 🐝 Bees have five eyes. 🐝 Bees beat their wings up to 240 times/second and fly up to 20 mph. 🐝 The unending battle between beekeepers and the Varroa Destructor—a deadly Darth Vader mite that endangers honeybees. 🐝 Bees talk to each other by doing what’s called the waggle dance. The waggle dan...

🔹 Of Dragon Bones and Ashen Tears by Steffen Larken

Rating: 4 of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ By: Kato Justus If you like George R. R. Martin and J. R. R. Tolkien fantasy you’re going to love Steffen Larken’s Swarming Death, Veric series! These short novellas are well written, heart pounding, vividly imaginative and a no-brainer must read. I’m totally hooked . The storyline is appropriate for all ages, boys, girls, adults. Share Veric’s exploits with your youngsters for perfect bedtime reading. The story encourages thought, imagination and provokes important discussion about life’s lessons. Although there are not pictures, I imagine the stories will appeal to those who love fantastic graphic novels. Join Veric on this high-fantasy saga as his search for answers about his past begins in earnest with a quest to the deep, dark, depths of Mond Orind and the Mouth of Madric. In this first novella “ Of Dragon Bones and Ashen Tears ” will Veric decipher the mysterious symbols on the ...
